Recently I had decided to have our old deck renovated and expanded. The existing deck in the back of our fourteen-year-old two story was sixteen by twelve and in dire need of repair. Between my Wife and I, we decided that as our yard was small and hard to maintain, we would have a two level deck with lighting to cover two thirds of the yard. Our design would also enable us to later install a hot tub and an outdoor gas fire pit. I’m somewhat handy, however. Looking at this project trying to marry up old with new, true with crooked and plum with warp. Nope not by this amateur, and a sigh from my Wife.
We had a couple of Contractors look at our project. One was too busy another I don’t think wanted it, as it was too small a renovation. However one Contractor said he would do it. So we came to terms with Mr. Dale Milligan of RAD Contracting “Quality without Compromise”.
The nineteen hundred plus square foot two level deck was not only completed on time but exactly as planned. Mr. Milligan’s experience and workmanship was profound. Not only were the new areas straight and true but also Dale took the time and persistence to ensure that the old would also hold true. He possesses the foresight and skill to see the development of the project and to keep concurrent activity with his workers. His knowledge of materials and inventory required to complete the project was flawless. Mr. Dale Milligan is a professional, hard working man of integrity and knowledge, his word is his bond. This is my reference to anyone; I would have Dale build my home.
